Daniel’s 1st birthday

I had so much fun capturing my good friends one year old son today. Daniel has grown up so fast and he is adorable especially when he smiles or laughs. Even though the weather was in the warmer side, good food and wonderful people and friends made the event memorable. I’m blessed. :)

Noelle and Herschel’s wedding

Big congratulation to both Noelle and Herschel as they officially walking together as one and being witnessed by close friends and family. The wedding was taken place at the Garfield Park Conservatory. The ceremony was at the back by the waterfall and it was beautiful. Simple but yet memorable. I’m glad being able to capture their big day and blessed!

Jennifer and Paul’s engagement ceremony

Capturing Vietnamese engagement ceremony is always interesting as not only important in the culture but also meaningful. It involves activities from asking permission to receive the bride, receiving the bride at her house, and paying respect to the family through tea and candle ceremony. I had fun covering the event and would like to congratulate both Jennifer and Paul for their engagement! :)

Noelle and Herschel’s engagement photo shoot

Meet Noelle and Herschel. I’m thankful not only for them taking their busy time out for the engagement / pre-wedding photo shoot, but also the much cooler summer morning here in Indy. We are blessed! It makes everything so much easier and we had fun going different places in capturing their pictures. They are mainly in downtown area focusing not only their favorite hangout coffee shop in Starbucks, but also some interesting part of the town. I had a great time knowing the couples and wish them all the best preparing for the wedding.

Baby Giselle at the canal walk

Baby Giselle’s is now 9 months old and it was my pleasure capturing her outdoor pictures at the Indianapolis canal walk. She was adorable as always and you can tell that she was having fun on her first trip to the area. She enjoyed seeing different people, dancing waving her hand, sitting by the shade, and looking at the water. :)

Four generations family pictures

Wonderful weather and a great family made wonderful pictures. This is the case for Sarah’s family as I had the privilege in taking family pictures of the four generations. As expected, the photo shoot session was full of smiles and laughter as we exchange ideas and enjoy the company of baby Daniel and Nathaniel. It was fun and memorable! Truly happy to see my good friends again and I’m blessed! :)

Asian fashion show 2010

When first being asked to help with the photography for the Asian Fashion Show, I didn’t know what to expect. I soon found out how much effort and planning that was put forth on the event. You can tell that everyone has been working hard on each of their parts and everybody would agree with the event being such a huge success. Congratulation to Angela and those who were involved. I was blessed just trying to capture some of the events. :)

Baby Daniel in spring 2010

Today was memorable being able to see the son of two of my longtime good friends. I know both Derrick and Sarah since my freshman year in college and today was my first time seeing their son since the one month old photo shoots. Baby Daniel is adorable, handsome, and love to smile. I had so much hanging out with them again and seeing how adorable baby Daniel truly is. I’m blessed!

New addition to the family

I had recently adopted a new friend and just got it today. It is 70-200mm 2.8L IS and was bought as a second hand from a friend. I’m pleased with the result so far and I hope that the extra zoom will be handy taking pictures of baby and perhaps with the couples at wedding.

* Update: The lens as advertised does produce a sharp image even at its 200mm. One thing worth noting is that the IS make a little but noticeable noise when the shutter button was pushed half way. It sounded like a whirling sound as the IS gets engaged. I was little surprised at first, but that’s how it works. It’s just my ear being little too sensitive :)

Baby Giselle with roses and toys

Baby Giselle’s photo shoots session for the month of February revolve Valentine’s roses and toys. Thanks to her family, her playing area is complete with set with roses and toys to keep her company. As you can see, she is adorable as usual wearing cute dresses with little ballerina shoes. She also showed that she’s getting more mature being able to eat solid food and touch her toe. It was once again my pleasure capturing the moments and I’m thankful. :)
