From the time that I stepped in to the hotel room to start covering for the wedding, I knew it'll be a fun one! Tatya and her bridesmaid are not only friendly, but I must say "wild" in a good way and everyone enjoyed each others company. It definitely made the environment very relaxing. :) There were several moments that I remembered the most from their wedding day and very touching. It was the expression in Tatya's mother as I saw tears coming from her eyes. It happened during the Indonesian's tradition ceremony as the bride and groom paid respect to the parents and when the reverend prayed over her health at the reception. It must meant a lot and a huge blessing being present in good health and witnessing her daughter full of smiles on her big day. Being able to witness such moments, I'm blessed! ]]> Big congratulation to both Tatya and Karniwa. It was a wonderful wedding and very well planned. I'm particularly impressed with the teamwork and all of the hard work put forth in making the occasion memorable. From the Vietnamese to Indian ceremony followed by the reception, everything was seamless and everyone was enjoying the process throughout the day. I personally think that's because everyone is extremely friendly. I remembered what one said about achieving better result when working with good people. It was my privilege witnessing two families, cultures, and love united into one. :) One moment that I remembered the most was during the tea ceremony when Ly's mother gave the necklace followed by a hug. Through small camera's viewfinder, I saw Ly's teary eyes with so much love (see the picture at the thumbnail section). You can tell how special that moment that was for her. They are dated from 2007 and 2008. Wedding photography is all about capturing the joy of the couple's big day! Essentially, we want to look back on for years to come and relive the moments. I've been blessed and fortunate to experience what it's like behind the camera. I still remembered being frozen by the moment as the couples took their first dance or when the testimony is hared among the witnesses.
