The family photo shoot was referred by a friend and I couldn't be more blessed by the session. They are a fun and friendly family and you can just tell that the children have a great relationship with the father. Everyone enjoyed a company of each other and the children were so energetic running around and laughed heartily. The pictures were taken by the Indiana State Museum area and Indianapolis canal walk. Reflecting at the session, I can say that I was touched and just truly blessed being able to take their pictures. I came from a single parent family with my father passed away when I was still very young. It makes me happy to see such a close knit family especially when having a special bond with the father. Another note, I also remembered how well mannered both Bella and Jackson were as each one of them hugged me in saying thank you. I am the one who should be thankful to the family and friend who had referred them. I'm blessed! :)]]> Meet James with his adorable children, Bella and Jackson. I met them through a friend and it was my privilege capturing their family pictures and the newborn baby. The session was interactive as daily activities around the house were captured. From witnessing their adorable son playing his favorite drum to taking snaps of the baby sleeping, I had fun working with them. They are extremely friendly and I'm thankful. One of my favorite moments of the session was when the baby was sleeping. It was very peaceful and I wholeheartedly agreed with what the mom had to say about it. "When the baby sleep, they are like an angel without wings." I'm blessed!]]> Meet Diana, Scott, and the family. The parents are my good friends and it's amazing seeing Daniel has grown since the last time I saw him. In fact, you can see previous Daniel threads from when he was one month old to his most recent one year birthday. I got excited to see how he is now running around having fun. :) The location of the photo shoot is at the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library located in downtown. Very nicely architected building combining the old traditional layout with the futuristic/modern structure full of new learning technologies. ]]> It’s always a blessing seeing old friends especially with Derrick, Sarah, and little Daniel. This is the first series of the three families at the brown county state park (see separate blog entries for the other two). It was my privilege meeting and working with the them. The children are so cute and we got the good start getting attacked by the lady bugs during the photo shoot in the open area. They, however, are so sweet. While taking turn taking pictures of the parent with the little one, one of them would start getting rid of the lady bugs on my shoulder. :) It was fun as we walked different area of the park, appreciative for their time, and thankful getting to know the family. We chose Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) and couldn't be thankful for the beautiful weather. :)]]> Meet Ko Wang2 and Ci Ing2′s family. Since then, they were blessed with two daughters and it was my privilege to take their family pictures this morning. It was my privilege meeting them this afternoon and I was happy being able to take the pictures especially having known Xiao for awhile, since the beginning of the college days in 2000. The session was taken place at Carmel Clay public library since we had measurable rain today for the first time in probably almost a month. Regardless and like what people say, things happen for the better. :) It was a quick session with me being late having little adventure in Carmel, but I had fun. :) Felicia was shy especially at the beginning, but it was memorable. My favorite moment was when she was sitting with Xiao posing for the picture. You can tell that she was trying so hard to smile and her expression was priceless. it was so sweet of her to do that. Everyone (well at least me in this case) had to stop and smile. Little things like that definitely makes my day! :)]]> Meet Xiao, Vivian, and Felicia.
